Upon arrival, after clearing immigration and custom’s, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Afternoon Half day sightseeing of Pashupatinath and Bodhanath

Pashupatinath : Situated five kilometers east of Kathmandu on the bank of sacred Bagmati river, the temple of lord Shiva Pashupatinath with two tiered golden roof and silver doors is famous for its super architecture. It is a centre of annual pilgrimage on the day of Maha Shivratri. Entrance to the temple precinct is permitted to the Hindus only however, visitors can clearly see the temple and activities performed in the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati river.

Bodhnath : The stupa of Bodhnath lies eight kilometers east of Kathmandu. This colossal and ancient stupa, one of the biggest in the world has the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It was built by Lichchhavi king Mana dev in the fifth century A.D. it is built on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels.

Day 02: Kathmandu / Lukla / Phakding 2652m

We will take a flight to Lukla from Kathmandu which takes approximately40 minutes. The elevation of Kathmandu is 1357 meters and Lukla is 2860 meters. Lukla is situated on a hill above Dudh Koshi River. Leaving Lukla the trail descends gradually passing through the large village of Chauri Kharka 2680m and through small villages, fields and forests following a wide well constructed path. We will be at Phakding in 3 or 4 hours walk from Lukla. Phakding is situated at an altitude of 2652 meters. This is our first night stop.

Day 03: Phakding / Namche Bazaar 3440m

From Phakding the trail follows the western bank of Dudh Koshi passing through forests of Blue Pine until it reaches a village of Benkar. Beyond this village the trail crosses to the eastern bank of Dudh Koshi River beside a large rock with excellent example of “mani” carving on it and climbs gently to the village of Chumao.

Between here and the next village of Monjo (2800m) the trail drops steeply to cross Monjo Khola which is fed by the mountains of Thamserku, Kangtega and Kusum Kanguru. From Monjo the trail crosses a small saddle behind a rock and then descends abruptly to re-cross the Dudh Koshi at Jorsale (2804m).On the cliff above the river it is possible to see the rare musk deer and Himalayan Thar.

Beyond Jorsale the trail undulates up the western bank until the confluence with Bhote Koshi is crossed and we enter the Khumbu region. Above the bridge the trail zigzags up the steep spur between the two rivers following the ledges between bluffs, through sparse forest, until a resting place on a small level area is reached, after 300 meters of climbing. From the far end of this resting area, Sagarmatha (Mount Everest) can be seen rising above Nuptse – Lhotse wall.

The next section of the trail climbs less steeply traversing above the Bhote Koshi until Namche Bazaar (3440m) the main trekking village in the Sagarmatha National Park is reached for overnight stay. Total walking time 6–7hours.

Day 04: Rest day at Namche Bazaar

Today we are free at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization. We can go on walking to the Namche Bazaar and explore the area.

Day 05: Namche / Thyangboche 3860m

After breakfast we will proceed towards Thyangboche which is set an altitude of 3860meters. The monastery of Thyangboche was founded about 80 years ago. Each year in November – December full moon the Mani Rimdu festival is celebrated here. We proceed towards Sarnasa.

Bird life is rich in this area. We will descend to Teshinga gradually and then steeply to Phungi Tenga. From here we follow the trail which climbs steeply and then gradually to the saddle on which Thyangboche Monastery is located. The best views of Sagarmatha, Nuptse, Lhotse and Amadablam amongst other can be seen .Total walking time is 6-7 hours.

Day 06: Thyangboche / Pheriche 4243m

We follow the descent route to Diboche crossing the Imja Khola (river) and see an ascent for half hour and another half hour on flat land walk will take us to Pangboche (3985m). From Pangboche we walk along the Imja Khola crossing the village of Shomare on an easy trail and then walk on a gradual ascent to Pheriche 4243m crossing a number of villages including Hortse.Pheriche offers the views of Amadablam, Kantega, Tawache, Cho Oyu, Lobuje Peak etc.Total walking time 5–6 hours

Day 07: Pheriche / Lobuje 4930m

From Pheriche we will take an easy walk for one hour to Tshambur and see uphill steeply to Thugla. 

Lobuje (4930m) . We can see the views of Lobuje Peak, Pokhalde, Thamserku, Nuptse etc. Total walking time 6 hours. One may feel headache, uneasy which could be the symptom of altitude sickness at Thugla Top and advisable to avoid alcoholic drinks.

Day 08: Lobuje / Gorekshep 5140m

We follow the trail frequently walking up and down throughout to our overnight stay place Gorekshep which takes 3 hours to reach there. Overnight at lodge. We can see LhoLa, Pumori, Everest, Nuptse, Khumbu Icefall and many others.

Day 09: Gorekshep / Everest Base Camp / Gorekshep

In the morning we proceed to Everest Base Camp through Khumbu Glacier and reach 5800 meters the Everest Base Camp. We carry packed lunch. Having absorbed the views of the majestic Himalayan Peaks we return back to Gorekshep for relaxation.

Day 10: Gorekshep / Pheriche / Pangboche

We take our return journey on the same route to Pheriche walking 6 hours.

Day 11: Pangboche / Namche

Walk to Namche Bazaar on the same route for 6-7 hour for overnight stay.

Day 12: Namche / Lukla

This is the last day of our trekking and walk down to Lukla from Namche on the same route for 8 hours.

Day 13: Lukla / Kathmandu

Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla

Half day sightseeing of Kathmandu City and Swambhunath.

Kathmandu City: It is the unique and fascinating capital of Nepal. First visit the 2000 year old stupa at Swayambhunath, then drive to the Central Durbar Square where you will see fine examples of Nepalese architectre in Kathmandu’s Palace and Pagodas.

Swayambhunath (Samhengu): Listed as a world heritage site, this is one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist sites in Nepal. Its established is linked to the creation of the Kathmandu Valley out of a primordial lake.

Three km west of Kathmandu this site is situated on a hillock about 77 m. above the valley. Painted on the four-sides of the spire bases are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Gautam Buddha, the founder of Buddhism.

Transfer to airport to board flight to back home.
